There may be other places with warm, pretty beaches, but there’s nowhere else in the world that combines such gorgeous beaches, such stunning natural treasures beyond the beach, and such a rich local culture with the decadent service we all love when we’re on vacation.

No wonder then, that of the 17,500 islands that make up the Indonesia archipelago, Bali is the one known as Isle of the Gods.

While the famous beach in Bali is right where we put the Hard Rock Hotel Bali beach resort, there are dozens of other destination beaches each with their own character, should you wish to explore them.

And there’s more to explore than beaches. In fact, 10% of Bali is taken up by West Bali National Park, home to monkeys, otherworldly pangolins, colorful birds, and the Asian Palm Civet, that inadvertent processor of the world’s most expensive coffee. We have wild rivers for rafting, active volcanoes ringed by mountain bike trails, and elephant safari rides through the forest.

Like anywhere worth traveling, Bali is home to great golf and sport fishing as well. And while fishing, take care that the dolphins and sea eagles don’t try to claim your catch.

Traditional Balinese dancing and music is world famous, and you’ll see why when you experience it in person. It’s not rock ’n’ roll, but we like it.

The Hard Rock Hotel Bali is, of course, the local headquarters for rock ’n’ roll, but the streets of Kuta are host to a vibrant nightlife scene each evening, and a colorful shopping experience each day. In fact, all of Bali is a colorful experience.. No wonder our Bali hotel fits in here so well.
