A testament to Hard Rock’s standing as a global institution of rock culture, the Rock Star Suite, which spans over 9,000 square feet, was inspired by the iconic Bret Michaels, who personally worked hand in hand with the Hard Rock Design Studio and Tandem Design Team and was heavily involved in the design of the opulent space, which is fun yet functional.

The music-filled event kicked off with an exclusive press conference held in the newly designed Rock Star Suite. Michaels personally greeted each member of the media and VIP guests and welcomed them into what he called his “home,” made sure they were comfortable and had a drink in hand. Michaels proceeded to lead a behind-the-scenes tour of his legendary memorabilia and beloved design aspects of the space. Then, in true Hard Rock fashion, Michaels officially inaugurated the Suite with a traditional Guitar Smash, which he took to a whole new level – autographing the guitar and placing it into a display case that will live in the Suite. Michael’s passion for the Hard Rock brand and his fans was evident as the Celebrity Apprentice winner made his way around the room, talking to each guest, taking photos, conversing about the thought-process behind the state-of-the-art design, along with the memorabilia – letting the group know his favorite piece in the Suite is his Hollywood Taxi motorcycle.
Following the press conference, Michaels played an unplugged, acoustic performance in the Heaven Lounge to celebrate the Suite’s iconic debut. The crowd was on their feet, singing along to some of Michaels’ classic tunes including, Every Rose Has Its Thorne, Nothing But A Good Time, Talk Dirty To Me, his crossover hit All I Ever Needed and covers of Sweet Home Alabama and Sublime’s ‘What I Got,’ both of which appeared on Michaels latest album Jammin’ with Friends.
