Hard Rock International Appoints New General Manager for Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast in Johor, Malaysia

 

Hard Rock International has appointed Clinton Lovell as the General Manager for its newest hotel in Malaysia – Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast.

With more than 20 years of hospitality industry experience, Clinton will oversee the hotel administration and will be responsible for the overall operations of the 365-room property in Desaru Coast, Johor – one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations in Malaysia.

Working closely with Hard Rock International and the hotel team, Clinton will play a key role in the development and execution of strategies to drive continued growth for the hotel, while further enhancing operational efficiency.

Prior to joining Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast, Clinton has served as General Manager at Avani Atrium Hotel Bangkok and previously Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort for Minor Hotels and was honored as the Best General Manager (Indonesia) in the 2015 World Luxury Hotel Awards. In addition, Clinton also boasts almost a decade of General Manager experience with Accor upscale hotels in Thailand.

Scheduled to have its Grand Opening Party on 28 September 2019, Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast will be the second musically-inspired hotel in Malaysia, after Hard Rock Hotel Penang, offering four food and beverage outlets, Rock Shop, Rock Spa, Roxity Kids Club and more.
