DonationIn support of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day in March every year, Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya is supporting our local foundation "Tamar Center," which helps women who would like to stop working in bars and being prostitutes.
During this month, various events, programs, and initiatives are organized to highlight the accomplishments of women, empower them, and also raise money to support the foundation.
Hard Rock International was founded on the mottos Love All. Serve All, Take Time to Be Kind, All is One, and Save The Planet. These mottos guide our efforts in the community and our philanthropic causes including annual support for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
For PINKTOBER 2023 once again, Hard Rock Hotels Pattaya will “go pink” in support of breast cancer awareness and research. This year we will donate to Chonburi Cancer Hospital. Part of the donation revenues is from food & beverages, and partly from the hotel activities.
Hard Rock Pattaya's community initiatives include "Rock the Lunch," which provides meals and entertainment to schools with limited budgets, and "Hard Rock Heals ONE-TO-FIVE PIANO," promoting music's healing power in partnership with the Trirat Foundation. These efforts all contribute to the broader mission of the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, which aims to improve lives worldwide through music programs.
A program to support school students in grades 7 through 12 (ages 13 to 18) from low-income backgrounds by granting funds for their education through a committee formed by hotel executives and school officials The scholarship is designed to help the student and their respective families buy uniforms, books, supplies, and for the student to participate in extracurricular educational activities. Currently, there are 26 students under this program; each student receives a fund of Baht 25,000 – 28,000 per annum until they graduate from grade 12 with a vocational diploma.
The newest of Hard Rock Pattaya's community initiatives campaign started in 2023, "Rock the Bear." which utilized the income from The Earth Hour Run charity event to purchase animal food, neccessary items and clean the habitat of bears, supporting the local Bang Lamung Wildlife Breeding Station 3.
The Rock The Farm project, initiated in July 2016 under the motto "SAVE THE PLANET," collaborates with The King's Project of Agricultural Promotion, providing knowledge and resources for organic farming. It serves as a learning center for Hard Rock team members, growing various fruits and vegetables using 100% natural, chemical-free compost. The produce contributes to Rock the Lunch, food decoration, and cooking ingredients in F&B outlets. Additionally, the Earth Hour project supports global sustainability efforts, hosting events like the Earth Hour Run to fund animal feed donations. The Rock The Bear project uses funds from the Earth Hour Run to clean bear habitats and support wildlife breeding stations, promoting environmental and animal welfare causes.
Hard Rock Hotel & Cafe Pattaya organized a special luncheon for Pattaya City Environmental Department crews, garbage collectors, and public area cleaners in Pattaya City. We wanted to give back to the people who work so hard to keep Pattaya City clean and beautiful. The event was organized at Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya and led by Mr. Jorge Carlos Smith, General Manager. During the luncheon, the Pattaya City Environmental Department members were treated to signature Hard Rock cuisine, including the Hard Rock Original Legendary® Burger, Hickory-Smoked Ribs, and more.
Hard Rock Hotel & Cafe Pattaya put the fun into fundraising by organizing the annual charity fundraiser and hosting a special concert. The funds raised from concert ticket sales, donations and auction were over a THB 1,000,000 and all proceeds were donated to the H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Srinthorn Charity Fund and Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya Philanthropic Projects: Rock the School, Rock the Lunch, and Rock the Farm.
