We know that a legendary beach holiday, full of rock and roll of course, must be on your mind. But we also know that after the recent COVID-19 outbreak, as the world is slowly released from lockdown, most rockers are probably full of doubts: What will travelling be like after quarantine? What hygiene measures will hotels carry out? And what health regulations will be put into place to maintain a safe environment?
At Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife, we want our guests to know that they´ve got nothing to worry about. Our goal is to offer the highest degree of hygiene while following all health regulations in order to keep our hotels safe, so that our rockers can enjoy a super star experience while travelling after quarantine.
Lately, we’ve all been finding ourselves in strange situations. But, one thing is for sure: our company would not be what it is today without the people. They have always been our highest priority and therefore, we’ve always believed that their safety and wellbeing has led to our success.
For that reason, especially during these times, it is more essential than ever that we take care of our rockers and our partners. We’d like you to check out our planned health and hygiene measures that will be taking place to ensure the utmost safety within our hotels and, in turn, offer our guests a worry-free holiday.
On behalf of Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife, with SOUND+SAFE we want to inform you that we are implementing the instructions and recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the expert authorities of the six countries in which we operate.
Our goal is to go above and beyond and, in addition to ensuring strict compliance with these indications, we are raising our standards in terms of safety, quality, health, and hygiene, by incorporating these new standards and protocols. These implementations will ensure that we maintain excellence in the product and service that characterizes us and that our 2 hotels, both in Tenerife and Ibiza, are safe environments where guests are protected and cared for with rock star treatment.

It is the result of an exhaustive analysis prepared by a Task Force Team conformed by Executives & Associates of Palladium Hotel Group experienced in the hotel operations in the back/front-of the-house areas and highly recognized by the industry for their years of expertise. With the highest level of safety regulations and hygiene measures put into place, we are positive that we can prevent the spread of the coronavirus and guarantee the best post-COVID travelling experience. According to Decree-Law 17/2020 of 29 October regarding the extraordinary measures adopted in terms of tourism and amended on 31 May 2021, to guarantee a stay to the highest safety and quality standards, and to maintain the low epidemiological rates in the islands:
They must provide an original certificate or supporting document showing a negative diagnostic test for active infection as established by the health authorities carried out in the 72 hours before arrival.
They must be fully vaccinated with a vaccine against COVID-19 authorised by the EMA in the 8 months before travel. This must be proven by means of an official certificate or supporting document confirming that they have received the full dose of the vaccine, the number of doses and the date on which each dose was received.
They must have received a dose of a vaccine authorised by the EMA against COVID-19 at least 15 days and within the four months before travel. This must be proven by an official certificate or supporting document confirming that they have received the first dose of the vaccine and the date on which it was received.
They must have had COVID-19 at least six months before the date of travel. This must be proven by an official medical certificate or public document stating the date on which the traveller suffered from the disease.
Persons who prove that they are resident in the Autonomous Region of the Canary Islands and who declare at their own risk that they have not left the region during the 15 days before arriving at the hotel, and that during that period they have not had symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
Non-residents in the Canaries who can prove by means of a travel document that they have been in the Autonomous Region of the Canary Islands for 15 days before the date of checking into the tourism accommodation, who declare at their own risk that they have not had symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
Persons who, regardless of their place of residence, certify that they have been outside the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands for a period of less than 72 hours before arrival, having been in the territory for 15 days before the aforementioned absence of less than 72 hours, who declare, at their own risk, that they have not had had symptoms of COVID-19 during that period.
THIS TOURISM ACCOMMODATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DENY ACCESS TO ALL PERSONS WHO DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE CONDITIONS.
In exceptional circumstances, if the person is amenable to having a diagnostic test, they will be informed of the closest authorised testing centre and will be permitted to access and stay for the time necessary to obtain the results. However, while waiting for the results, they will not be allowed to leave their accommodation unit.
It is mandatory to download the Radar COVID infection alert mobile app and keep it active during your stay on the islands, and for 15 days after their return to their place of departure.
